I am researching the name LOVE. I have only been able to get
back to 1804, when my great-great grandfather, CLINTON LOVE, was
born in Onondaga County, New York on July 4th. I do not know
who his parents were. I do know that Clinton married Mary

in 1889 and is buried in Sabetha, Nemaha, Kansas. From there,
JEREMIAH LOVE took his sons, GEORGE and FRANK LOVE to make the
land run in Oklahoma known as the "Cherokee Strip" in 1893.
JEREMIAH, GEORGE and FRANK LOVE all settled on farmland near
Blackwell and Braman, Oklahoma, in Kay County.
Some of the Loves lived/settled in Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota,
Montana, and Kansas and I'm pretty sure that a few never left
New York. No telling where they have scattered by now! Most of
