Patricia, thank you so much. This is most certainly the Nils Swan for whom I have been looking. All family names and ages fit perfectly. I am a bit surprised by the occupation as the Svang family was big time into the shipping business in Kragero in the 1800s. But I guess the lure of America caused many to seek new lands. If anyone who knows any of these decendents sees this I would love to hear from you. I have much information back to late 1700s in Norway and much on Hans Svang who came to US about 1850.
