Thanks Deb, for your quick reply. I don't think Great Grandfather Iver ever made it back home to Iowa. His wife and daughters obits state that "he gave his life to the great cause where all trace of him was lost". So I don't think he is resting in Iowa. In fact I don't think the Army even knows where he is! But I will check into Missourisome more and see what I can come up with.
