More information on John T. Arnold from his obituary reprinted in the Star News (Sherburne County, Mn.)of July 7, 1910

John T. Arnold, a fifteen year resident, died at his home in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on June 27, (1910) after a short illness. He left behind a wife and child, and a sister, Maria A. Whiteoak of Elk River, Mn. as well as a brother, G.S. Arnold of Seattle, Wa. Mrs Whiteoak had visited her brother the previous April, their first meeting in 30 years. John had been born in Ogdensburg, N.Y. At the time of his death, he had been living a retired life for a number of years, and was a well known man of honesty and strong character, Funeral services were held that Wednesday afternoon (June 29th?? 1910)at his residence, with interment held at Evergreen Cemetery.
