Callahan - Caragher Connections

I am attempting to research my ancestry. My great grandfather was John P. Callahan, he had changed his name from Caragher in abt 1910 - 1920. I believe he was the County Treasurer. I am looking for information, other family members, or other assistance to clear up this mystery. I do know where my relatives are buried in Antigo, but just looking for a little more. Tomie
