Polar is located in Langlade County approximately 200 miles north of Milwaukee. We are 10 miles east of Antigo. My husband and I bought a home in Polar last fall that had been in the Cline family for about 100 years.

I am also researching the Messer family as that is my husbands birth line. We know his family originated in the Hazard KY area, and migrated to Wisconsin due to work available.
His grandpa was Robert Messer, his GGrandpa was Thomas Messer. Any help you can give would be appreciated and i will help you likewise. Bonnie Krueger Messer, countrygal1_54418@yahoo.com
