Bailey Families of Langlade County

Hi all,

I'm helping out a lady. We are just starting to dig into the Bailey line with hopes of connecting with relatives researching to share & obtain info.

James Calvin Bailey born abt 1871 in Kentucky married Ernastina Kramer abt 1902 someplace in Wi. Trying to find his parents who were supposedly either both born in Kentucky or father in Missouri. Both states are listed in census. James & Ernestina resided in the Price area. He died in 1955-buried in Bent.

Waiting for his obit to arrive.

Urias Bailey b April 1, 1882 Aden, Kentucky-per obit, census says parents born Kentucky. Married Clista Reeves Sept 22, 1910 in Ironton, Ohio. Obit claims he is son of lates Mr & Mrs James P Bailey.
Died Jan 24, 1973 Sheboygan Falls while living with his daughter the last 12 yrs. Buried Bent Cem.

We find a 3rd Bailey gentlemen in 1910 Price, Langlade Co, Wi census as b abt 1887 Kentucky-parents Kentucky wife Julia b abt 1887 b Kentucky. We cannot make out his given name.

It is assumed these 3 men are brothers but we can find no proof. It is believed James Calvin Bailey came from a large family but we do not know who his siblings are.
His obit says he has 3 brothers & 2 sisters who proceded him in death.

We have the listing of all Bailey Buried in Langlade Co & are slowly going through it. We have also looked at the Lannglade Co death index online at USGENWEB.

Any help much appreciated.

Kathy & Susan
