Interesting you should mention the DeHarts. I am related to a DeHart clan in Carter County, Kentucky (East Kentucky, not far from Ashland). I was visiting this board because I have a photo taken in Antigo about 1900. The photo is of 2 woman and two young girls, but the only identification on the photo is "Ross". My great Aunt, Bertha Ross, left a report that her parents, Jeremiah and Sarah Ross of Carter Co., Ky., moved to Elton around 1900. Bertha said they only stayed for 6 months to a year, and then returned to Kentucky.

I have charts on many East Kentucky families, including DeHart, Sparks, Armstrong, Kaiser, Blevins, Jarvis, Sammons, Sparks, Everman, Greenhill and about a hundred more. I'd be interested in knowing more about your DeHarts.
