I am looking for information on the SCOTT and HARRINGTON families of New Diggins and Benton, Lafayette Co., WI.
ROBERT JOSEPH SCOTT, SR.

d. 15 Mar 1891, age 82 yrs.

Burial: New Diggings, Lafayette Co., WI

both born in Ireland
John P., the father, was a sailor. Having come to America in boyhood, he enlisted in the United States navy and served during the Mexican War. Later he married in Massachusetts and then moved to Wisconsin where he raised six sons and three daughters.
The mother, died in 1872 in Wisconsin. In about 1882, the father, John P. Harrington, moved to Wright county, Iowa. He died in
Winnebago county, Iowa in 1899.
Other HARRINGTON children are: Timothy P., "Flip", Maggie, Nellie, Pete and John.
I am interested in any and all info on these families. Thank you in advance.
