My wife has WHITE descendants who lived in Fayette, Lafayette County, Wisconsin. This family emigrated from Pennsylvania. They are originally from Ireland. The 1850 Federal Census for Wisconsin shows in Fayette township the following...

James (C) White - 43 M Farmer Penn
Margaret 41 F Penn
Sarah W 17 F Penn 1
Henry B 16 M Farmer Penn 1
Margaret S 14 F Penn 1
David 12 M Penn 1
George 6 M Penn 1
James C 4 M Penn
Jane 2 F Penn

Don't know if these Whites tie into yours. Let me know. My wife came through David who ended up in Colorado.

Good Luck,

Ken Honda--
