I am looking for any information about my father's side of my family. My information is sparse, hoping you can help me. My father, Eugene Anthony Metzner, 11-16-1927/8-10-1993 was born in Kenosha, WI. His father, Louis Lawrence Metzner, 6-6-1906/8-16-1984 was also born in Kenosha, WI. His mother, Margaret Minnie Hessefort, 3-9-1908 is still alive. My father's father, Frank Metzner was born in German, coming to America and settling in Wisconsin circa 1890's. He died in 1918. Margaret Minnie Hessefort Metzner and her mother, Anna hycamper, 8-18-1884/3-19-1977, was born in Phillips, WI. Do you know where Phillips, WI is located?
Any information you could find for me would be greatly appreciated.
