MINERAL POINT Richards H.Martin Sr., age 71, of Mineral Point, died on Wednesday, February 11,1987, at the Mineral Point Living Center, after an extended Illness. He was born In Mineral Point, on December 6, 1915, the son of Harold and Edna (Richards) Martin. He graduated from Mineral Point Schools and the University of Wisconsin at Madison's Agriculture short course. He farmed the Mineral Point area for many years, and served as clerk for the Township of Mineral Point. He was a past member of the Mineral Point United Methodist Church, and the Mineral Point IOOF Lodge. Survivors Include six sons, Richards H. Jr. (Janis) of Prairie du Sac, Thayne (Beverly) of McHenry, Illinois, Robert (Carol) of Hazel Green, Michael of San Jose, California, Mark (Teri) of Edwards Air Force Base, California, and Timothy (Marla) of Mineral Point; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Ruth White of Darlington, and Emily Martin of Elgin, Illinois; a brother, Robert (Mary) Martin of Mineral Point; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded In death by his parents; a son, Keith; and his beloved brother-in-law, Clyde White. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday, February 15,1987, at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME, Mineral Point. Reverend Stephen Gehlert will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m., on Saturday, February 14, 1987, and from noon until the time of services, on Sunday, at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME, Mineral Point.
