Amelia Louise (Ebert) NEITZEL (09 Jan 1856-07 Jan 1907)
Died at her home in Pickett, WI Monday Jan 7 1907 after an illness of four months at age 51. She leaves besides her husband Albert, four children, Mrs. Earl La Baron of Ripon WI, Mrs. W. H. Bowns of Oshkosh WI William and Arnold NEITZEL both of Picket, WI. She was a loving wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her but it was the will of Him who doth all things well, that she should be called home at this time.
Obituary a Ripon, WI 2 May 1945: ALBERT NEITZEL PASSES AWAY AT PICKETT HOME
Albert NEITZEL, 92 died at the home of his son, William at Pickett, WI Wednesday at 5:30 pm after an Illness of ten days. He had been in ill health for several years.
A native of Germany he was born June 7, 1852 and came to America when 16teen years old. Mr. Neitzel retired from active farming 25 years ago. For several years after the death of his wife he resided with a daughter, Mrs. Earl LeBaron (who died in 1943). Since then he made his home with his son at Pickett.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Ray Parks, Escondido, CA & two sons, Arnold, Minneapolis, MN and William, Pickett, WI. Two Brothers: John Minneapolis, MN and Gustave Beaver Dam WI, and two Sisters: Mrs. Amelia Prochnow, Gillett, WI, and Mrs. Emma Williams, Horicon,WI
There are also four grandchildren surviving.
The Rev. E.E.Schieler, pastor of the first Evangelical Lutheran church will officiate at the funeral services to be held at the Butzin Chapel Saturday at 2 PM. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
