Thank you for posting this information. David R. Shelton was my gggg grandfather. Would you happen to have any information on his daughter Martha Jane?
The only information I have on David Shelton that you didn't mention was that he was educated at Danville College in Kentucky and was a teacher for a few years, farmer the rest of his life.
I grew up in Monmouth, not far from where the Sheltons lived.
