Thomas Ness b ca 1833. Immigrated 1850-1860 to Clinton, Champlain County, New York. Marries in same before 1860 Martha Barker b 1842 Clinton, Champlain County, NY (daughter of Watson A Barker and Mary A Spink? of York, ENG, migrated 1832-pre-1842 to NY). Thomas and Martha move to WI (1865-68) and first live in Eau Claire, Eau Claire Co., WI (1870 census). 1880 census shows living in Rock Creek. No more knowledge 1890, 1900.
Citizenship papers in NY in 1850-60 says that he was (born?, resident?) of York (York?, North RIding York?, East Riding York?, West Riding York?).
Haven't been able to get a hit in ENG census of vitals as of yet.

William W. b 1861 NY,
Sarah E. b 1863 NY,
Alice Gertrude b 1865 NY,
John A. b 1868 WI (not sure farm hand or relative),
parents both born in Scotland
Ruby A. Ness daughter of William, lived in Rock Creek area in late 1980s.
Appreciate death vital, obituary, cemetery tombstone inscriptions.
