I found a death certificate for Clinton Vol 28 cert # 463
the cert indicates he was not a veteran and had no social securtiy # His widow is listed as Elizabeth.. he was born 7 July 1856 in Rock Co Wi, his occupation is listed as Retired City Employee.
F: James P. Erckenbrack B: NY
MRacheal Jane Love B: IL.
Informant was Mrs. Phillip Oszuscik
he is buried in Parker Prarie Mn.
H.L.Smith undertaker (no longer in business and no records were kept)
Cause of death. Chr. Myocardial Degaen.
secondary.. Senility.
residence 1309 East 5th st Superior..

I checked into the nmae New York Mills.. I have a liosting of every town in the state of Wi and it includes unincorperated twps.. there is none in Wi by the name New York Mills..
