Looking for information on:
William ‘Will’ Sherman Cox was born about 1858 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin and he died July 25, 1930 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin of a heart attack at the age of 72 years. He married Clarissa ‘Clara’ M. Warren who was born in June 1862 in Wisconsin and she died about 1920 in Horicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin at the age of 58; they were married on May 10, 1884 in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. They had 3 chn. His sister Emma Cox Wood was living with Will in Horicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin in 1920, so it is assumed that her husband George R. Wood had died before 1920, as Will’s wife Clara died that year. In 1920 William would have been 62 and sister Emma was 8-10 years older. Will then married Mrs. Emma Newell, a widow from Chicago, Cook County, Illinois on April 02, 1922. Any further information on this family is appreciated,
