Bartholomew

Hello Dennis:

I looked in the 1850 US Census for Dodge County, and found a Bartholomew family that fits your description, except the names of the parents are quite different. They do have 6 children in 1850, but came from Ohio, and the last two children 4 and 1 were born in Wis. Thus, it may not be your family, but was the only Bartholomew family in Dodge County in 1850. Interesting, no? Here is the data:

1850 US Census for Wis. Dodge Co. page 348. Dwelling 17, Family 17.

Lamento (?) Bartholomew, Age 40, Farmer born Ohio

Betsy Bartholomew, Age 34, Wife, Ohio
George Bartholomew, Age 14,               Ohio
Jakob Bartholomew, Age 12              Ohio
Ralph Bartholomew, Age 8              Ohio
Jay Bartholomew, Age 6                     Ohio
Henry Bartholomew, Age 4              Wis
Arthur Bartholomew, Age 1              Wis.

This is the only family I could find listed. I have a hard copy if you would like me to send it to you, it may be relatives of the ones you look for. I would need a mailing address. Contact me at Rlockmanpete@earthlink.net .
