Horace Quimby Family

Iím looking for clues to the birthplace of my 2x grandmother, Esther Annette Quimby, in Wisconsin. Her parents, Horace and Savilla Sargent Quimby, were married in Franconia, NH in 1845. They were in Wisconsin by 1849 when their son Albert Eugene Quimby was born. Esther was born in 1851. By 1854 they had moved to Clayton Co., Iowa. Research by Presley Talbot in the 1950ís & 60ís stated that Esther and Albert were born near a group of small towns in Wisconsin near Iowa. Iíve had no success locating the family in the 1850 census. There is a Horace Quimby in Kenosha Co., but it is a different family. Iíd welcome any help or suggestions.

James Hamilton
