I am finishing typing up and editing over 40 Civil War letters from my great-great-grandfather Dealton Tichenor, who lived in Seneca twp. He mentions over 50 men believed to be from Crawford County in his letters. I include their names here. If you have information on any of them, please let me know the information and your source. I will likely include it and, if I do, I will credit your help. I will also let you know what he said about them in his letters. Perhaps 2/3 of these are in the 31st Wisconsin with him and the others are people about whom he is writing his wife.
