Richland Center Richland County Wisconsin Dec 13, 1935 Mary Ann GERRITY daughter of James and Mary (GORMAN) GERRITY was born Feb 15, 1849 in Carbondale,Lackawanna County, PA departed this life Dec 13,1935 at the age of 86. On July 5, 1864 she was united in marriage to Daniel W. ADNEY who preceded her in death 17 years ago. To this union were born fifteen children of whom nine have gone before. Those whom she leaves to mourn her passing from life are Thomas, Gothebury, Neb; Daniel, Portage; Joseph, Cora, Wyoming; Leo, Soldiers Grove; Mrs Mary MC KINNEY of Blue River and Bertha FRITZ, Richland Center; also a sister Mrs. Bridget ROWAN (sic RUANE) of Scranton, PA. Thirty seven grandchildren and more than fifty great grandchildren besides a host of friends both old and new. Mrs. ADNEY was a resident of the town of Clayton, Crawford County for more than 70 years, coming to her residence there when she was a smal child with her parents. She spent the last ten years of her life in Richland Center where she made many new friends.
