thanks for checking, Betty. I've started with my ggf Peter Beaulieu, because i had heard more about him. But i can't find anything about him before Chippewa County. It's interesting, so i'll keep looking. The Beaulieu's were part of the first 144 families in Quebec. There were Beaulieus in Wisc. in the mid. 1800. many of them moved to Minn. I found a Thomas Beaulieu on the 1870 Chippewa census. I heard of a Delor and Josephine Beaulieu & family. Plus a Elizear Joseph Beaulieu in Cumberland, Wisc. ggf peter married Rose Wardell in 1879 in Eagle Point. Her mother Sarah Wardell and Charles Smith witnessed the marriage. I believe Sarah later married Charles Smith.
