There probably still is a community/village of Rantoul but the site you suggested does not prove it. Remember that in Wisconsin, the term "Town" is used for a township, so "Town of Rantoul" is Rantoul township. The reference I gave (found at www.wi-sebring.com, Calumet Page) is the only one I could find for the village when I searched. Perhaps someone from Potter would know definitely if the community still exists.

WIGenExchange Towns & Villages does include Rantoul (once) in its lists, but doesn't distinguish between villages/communities/cities and townships.
