Gasman Haugen family line

Seeking to locate info in regards to Laura Caroline Thomasdtr Haugen that married John Gasman, 05 January 1879, Pierce County, Wi.

Laura Haugen is the daughter of Thomas Nilsen Haugen and Aaste Karine Engrebretsen that came from Modum, Norway in 1860.

Settling in Martell, Pierce county, Wisconsin. siblings were Nils Haugen, ERick Haugen, John Thompson, Anna Aastrom, Maren, and Nellie Johnson.

John Thompson lived in Sawyer county, died in 1922. Erick lived in Ashland Co (father Thomas Nilsen Haugen buried there)

Know that Laura supposedly died in Washburn, Bayfield County, 12 March 1939.
Had at least one daughter Lula.

Laverne Edward Butler (also Vern or Vernie) was born in 1877 in Lake Linden, MI. In 1886 was in Washburn, WI with mother Mary Thurston. Mary lived and died in Flint, MI. She married Edward Butler in 1875 or 6 and they divorced in `884. She died in 192 -30. Vern Butler married Lulu Janette Gasman or Gasmann. They lived and died in the Washburn, Bayfield WI area.

Also would like to make contact with a Robert Gasman who helped contribute materials to Pat Wiff author of Martell Township history published in 1994, in regards to Laura Haugen,including a picture of her.

Lastly there is a Haugen reunion being held in Mellen Wi - 30 June and 1 JULy 2001.
