Ashland county farm records?

I would like some assistance in regards to finding county run (poor) farm records. My G. G. Grandfather Stephen V. Barber is said to have lived out his remaining days (102-3 years!) in "a county run farm". His last known living place before the farm was his son Chauncy's household, and he is recorded in the 1910 census with this family in Ashland. He is not in the Ashland farm in the 1920 census, which could mean he didn't live to 1920 or he wasn't in that particular farm. Do records of this farm still exist? Thank you.
