I am descended from Lyndon M. Lanphear who settled in Adams County about 1855 with his wife and children and in-laws, Daniel and Ester Garthwait. I have for many years been trying to find Lyndon's parents. Recently I ran across a Clark Lamphear and an Elisha Lamphar in the township of Chester in the 1855 census. Lyndon and Daniel were in that same township. Does anyone have any additional information on any of these families? Is there a connection between Lyndon and Clark or Elisha? ANY assistance you would give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Terry
