Hi Valerie;
Your Whyte family definetly looks like a good possibility. All I have for Jane Whyte is that she was born about 1814 and she married James Gray Hay 25 Feb 1838 in Prestonpans, East lothian. She died 15 Feb 1890 in Partick, Govan. I'm not sure how I can confirm her parents. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks for sending me your info!
