Looking for the family of Archibald and Margaret (Kerr) White who were married on May 27, 1790. On the petition of the Associate Presbytery of Pennsylvania Archibald was appointed to go to America by the Associate Synod of Scotland and arrived in New York in 1788 and was ordained at 'Muddy Creek' York County, Pennsylvania on 26 May, 1789.

Archibald was the son of Thomas Whyte of Peebles, Scotland.

Margaret Kerr was from 'Marsh Creek' York (Adams) County, Pennsylvania daughter of John and Agness Kerr.

They both died and are buried in Argyle (?) New York.

Known children of Archibald and Margaret (Kerr) White are John, William, Archibald and Margaret. John died in the war of 1812.

Ray
