Searching for Peter Whyte (white???) born approx.1844 in Glascow, Lanarkshire.Married circa 1880-1881 under scottish law to Catherine Cameron..Served in Indian Army (or british army in india???!!) for approx 20 years.(Died 1904 or 1905..in a village just outside of Perth )Scotland ...dishonourably discharged for striking an officer??..we think he has a brother named Duncan..Son is James Whyte, born october 4th 1881 in Tillicoultry, Clackmannashire.James married by common law in approx.1903 to Jean McArthur. James died Dundee, Scotland 15th december 1953...Any help appreciated..
