Daniel Whyte/White B: abt 1800 Ireland (maybe Caven/Down Co). Was married in 1822 in Morris Twp, Greene Co, PA to Jain Gillogly B:1804, Ennis. Ferm Co, Ireland(daughter of John Gillogly). Had 11 children: Robert Whyte B: 1822(my line in Morris Twp, Greene Co, PA; John Whyte B:1824, PA; James Whyte B:1826,PA; George Whyte B: 1828,PA; Daniel, JR and Andrew B: 1831(in Greenville Twp, Greene Co, TN); Eliabeth Jain B: 1833, TN; Hannah J/G B:1838 in Antrim, Madison Twp, Guernsey Co, OH and M: Henry C. Mottie there; Hugh White B: 1838, OH; Barbery Elinor B: 1840, OH; and Susannah B: 1842, OH. Daniel Whyte was listed on 1850, Guernsey Co, OH census as B: 1800, Ireland and was a Stonemason. Also two sons were, too. I believe his parents were John and Elinor White of Morris Twp, Greene Co, PA who were from Caven Co, Ireland. Is a stonemason from Scotland or England? I have been told that we were Scot=Irish.
