Hi Paul, read your message and are you sure the name of the village is just Birch? I have Whybrows from Birchanger. Namely, Gorge Whybrow bap. June 1801 Birchanger Essex married Pheobe Banks Dec 1821 in Bishops Stortford, Herts. They had nine children. One of their daughters, Ann, b.1872 is my maternal Grandmother. Her nephew is the latest George I have b. in 1879 parents unknown at this time.
Would be great to hear from you.
Marian
