Thanks. I tracked the first child of James and Louisa(James, b. abt 1838)via the 1901 to St Pancras, London, but do not know about Elijah.
My long standing problem is that I have a lot of John's at Gosfield (mid-1700's)who could be candidates for several marriages even though one or two certainly married at least twice. I believe some ariived in the Gosfield area from another parish.
For example, Elizabeth Wybrough made a will at Gosfield. She died Feb 22, 1731/32. I assume she was a spinster as her bequests were to her cousin John Wybrough and her nephew, John Wybrough who at the time of her death "was about 5 months old". No record of these, other than the burial, at Gosfield
My hunch is that one of these John's might be "John Wyborough, the younger" who married Martha Piper in Dec, 1751 and had a broom making business at Gosfield.
Have you come across any John's about this time in another parish who subsequently vanished?
Best wishes for the New Year.
