I have a Wesley Whorton, Methodist Minister who served at the Berean M. E. Church in Shelbyville, Missouri during the 1850-60's. My 3rd G Gf Rev. Eza Sayre served this same church 1855-1862. Wesley Whorton's name is listed two after Ezra Sayre in the History of Shelby County, MO.
No relation but interesting possibilities.
