In the Whittlesey-Whittelsey Genealogy, 1898, 1941 and 1992 we show Hester as marrying ....Stephens being born the date you listed but dying 21 Aug 1821. The author of this information, Charles Barney Whittelsety died in Hartford, Connecticut. His records are stored at the Connecticut HIstorical Society there. He did not apply an endnote to the information on Hester's family. I have searched the Saybrook Vital Records book I have and can only find an Esther, daughter of Hezekiah, being baptized on 30 July 1749. Since there is no Esther listed as a child of Hezekiah, I expect that she is the Hester as the genealogy shows her birth as 20 June of that year.

Willis
