Hi Angela,

I can only help you with the Whittington branch of your family. I remembered the name Lucinda Bly from my research and reviewed it for you. The following are posts in this forum that will be of interest to you.

1. Post #712 is from another descendent of Lucinda Bly.

2. Post #1409 gives the two books I found that document the Whittington branch of Lucinda's lineage.

3. Post #1129 gives the locations where the W~B book can be found on microfilm. ( nearest to you in Georgia )

Our Whittington lineage is quite interesting and I highly suggest that you find a Mormon Family History Center and order both of these books on microfilm and have them sent to that MFHC for you to review. The Whittington~Brown Book is by far the superior reference source but Goldie Shaffer's book deals more with the North Carolina branch.
