Burrell Green Whittington Sr born Va 1757 son of Edward Whittington born 1724 died 1790 and Penelope Green was not married to Martha Wise or Wiess that was wrong information passed around for years. Burrel G Whittington Sr was infact married to Nancy Kennedy they married circa 1780 and after her death he married Tishey Love in 1805 Tattnall County Ga.

Burrell G Whittington Jrborn 1787 md Nancy Wells
William K Whittington born 1789 md Mary Strikland

and had an obit from the Christian Advocate and it gave his parents as Burrel Green Whittington Sr and Nancy Kennedy
