I only have a little bit of information for you via " The Whittington~Brown Book " by Winona Whittington Pfander. Rachel Whittington`s father was John W. Whittington ( #80 in W~B Book )born 1815 in Tennessee and her mother was Mahala Adams born 1815 in Illinois. Rachel`s parents were married in 1842 and they had seven children Malinda, Sidney, Rachel, Thomas, Mahaley ( Aley ), Jasper, and Elizabeth.
