Francis Whittington was in Charles City County, Virginia and his daughter Elizabeth Whittington married Will. Bobbet late February 1674 in City Point now Hopewell, Charles City County now Prince George County, Virginia.
This Whittington family is not related to the Amelia County or any other County in Virginia Whittingtons and in time did not settle any further south than North Carolina.
