Hi: Sarah - Definitely same family. John F. is shown in 1900 census as John W. John Franklin is correct. He arrived in Canada that same year (would love to know reason). M Carrie Coombs in Winnipeg in 1909. Issue is as follows: Harry Delvert B.Feb22, l911 - D. Sept.11,1961
Ella Beatrice B.Aug 24,1912 - D. Jan.23, 1996
James Gordon B July 14, 1920 -D.Jan28, 2004%
Merle "Robert"B.June 18, 1925 (Uncle Bob, still alive. Ella was my Mother. I have notes and a postcard from Uncle Sears to my Mother plus several pictures. Do have a picture of Aunt Maude E. There seems to be a one year discrepancy in birth - my info (taken from obit is 1879, but tree shows 1880). James Madison was his father and had 15 children. lst wife was Clara Ada Sibley (married her when she was only 15 yrs. and 4 months old). Second wife was Louisa Jane Shorey. Hoping my cousin found out WHY he left Maine in 1900 as she apparently drove him to the station. Have a copy of RECORD OF DEATH FROM STATE OF MAINE for James M. Whittier; death in Enfield, Maine. How close is that to Lincoln??? really must get a Maine Map. Lauraine
