William Maxton was born 2/5/1864 in Crieff to Robert Maxton{e} and Janet Mather he worked as a Ploughman then later a Lorryman
His Wife was Helen ‘Nellie’ Whittet daughter of Andrew Whittet and Helen Harley who was born 12/9/1870 in Murroes, Angus.
Helen was from Errol in Perth and they married there in 1891 but just about a year after their 1st anniversary Helen died of health problems she had suffered for almost 4 years.
They had no children and William never remarried he died in 1912 at Murthly Asylum, Little Dunkeld
I would love to hear from anyone who has connections or information on this couple
