I read your post of '08, & hope you are still looking for Whittens. I think the Levi most of us are looking for is the one b/abt/1780 SC, m/Lena Leathen,,Christiana Fielder, d/27 Jan 1849. Buried in Covington City Cemetery GA.
His children-Elinder, Giles S., Mary, William Riley(my ggggf), James Napoleon, Nancy, Robert Morgan, Davenport L, Coleman Carlye, Horace J.B., Allen S., Craven Jenkins, & Francis Anne.
Do you have info on this Leve Whitten?
