My grandmother was Francis Helen Whittaker eldest child of 10 born to Phillip (b.15 Oct. 1870 in Hillsdale) and Nellie Elizabeth Bacon. Phillips father was Edmund B. Whittaker (b. 1 July 1839 in Mich.)married to Helen M. Frantz (NY?). His father was Samuel A. Whittaker (b.14 Jan 1807 in Lancashire, England). married to Sarah Fitton/Fitten of Shrewsbury, Salop, England. They were married about 1832 in Massachuttes, then settled in Hillsdale, Mich. I need information on Samuel and Sarahs family in England.Can anyone help? Marcie Maine-Davies
