LOUISA FLEWELLING ca. 1857- (m. SAMUEL JACKSON)
First marriage Saint County Marriage Records, Book B, p. 256, (Prudence from Westfield Parish, Kings Co., NB); a John Flewelling (m. Deliverance Laskey) a witness. 2nd marriage probably in Saint John, NB. Lived in Portland (now part of City of Saint John.) In 1871 census in Kingston Parish, Kings Co., ship carpenter, Free Christian Baptist, Scotch (???.)
Information partially from Allan H. Wetmore's, "Flewelling Genealogy", a manuscript in the New Brunswick Museum, Saint John. My assumption of his parents is based partially on the slim connection with Westfield Parish. Thomas Flewelling should not be confused with Thomas Flewelling of Oak Point or his son, also Thomas. Thomas Flewelling of Westfield Parish was most likely a son of John and Deborah (Denton) Flewelling, (John being Thomas of Oak Point's brother.
Confirmation of Elisha's parents and a fuller outline of his descendants would be of interest.
I probably will not be back to this forum, but I often visit the Flewelling forum.
