Hello, is anyone out there researching the Whittaker families from Warrington? I have traced back to a blacksmith, John Whittaker, born around the 1780s and living in Manchester Road in 1840. His son Joseph b1809 married Ann Wilkinson in Warrington in that year. Joseph was a butcher and he and Ann had 3 surviving sons (Thomas, John and William) and 3 daughters (Maria, Alice, Elizabeth).
