A well researched book will be published by Heritage
Books, iNC, will say that Rev. Richard Whitt d ca 1813
married 2nd Elizabeth Baxter.
Book announcement in near future. The book titled
"Ancestors and Descendants of William Whitt (1775-1850).
The author has researched the material for the book for
several years. He has sifted and sorted all the Witt &
Whitt of early Virginia in coming to his conclusions.
My research points to Richard Whitt, Junior, son of
Rev. Richard Whitt d ca 1813, as husband of "a" Elizabeth,
and father of James Madison Whitt b ca 1810.
This "a" Elizabeth has been a mystery for some time. She
first appeared on Tazwell tax list in year 1817 after
"a" Richard failed to appear in year 1816.I submit
this Richard Whitt was Richard Whitt, Junior, formerly
of Montgomery Co., who has dropped from sight.

"Witt's End" quartrly newsletter cover descendants
of immigrant John Witt-Whitt & wife Ann Daux, who married
in Charles City Co., VA around 1670.
DNA test prove that Witt & Whitt of early Virginia
descend from a common ancestor
