Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Barbara,
I just read your message for the first time today.

Bob G. emailed me this data below, but I do not have his email any more.
Sorry. It has been 6 years since I started researching this family.

Resources:
1) "The Stanwood Family in America" by Ethel Stanwood Bolton, published in 1899.
2) http://www.familysearch.org
3) World Connect family tree Title: Heier
4) World Connect family tree Title: The Ancestry of Overmire Tifft
Richard son Bradford Reed.

I've read that Calvin Coolidge and Dan Quayle are descendants of David WHITMARSH, father of John.

Sorry,
Jan

I posted previously:
"An Alice Garment was baptized in Batcombe Somerset on 26 Apr 1607 per extracted church records. She was married to John Whitmarsh on 9 Jun 1623 in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
Shepton Mallet was where the Rev Joseph Hull was preaching and is only a few miles from Batcombe. They may have been married at his church by him. All the records saying that they were born and married in Weymouth are wrong."
