I am Wendy Raye Whitlock b. August 1972, Lansing, MI
My Dad is Wendell Ray Whitlock b. December 1942, somewhere in Ohio. His mother's name was Dorothy. I do not know much about dad's family. He and my mom, Natalie, never got along. He hitchhiked to Michigan when he was 14 or something.
I have an older brother from dad's 1st wife, Nancy. My brother's name is Mark Hanna Whitlock b. March 1965, Lansing, MI. I think he is named after our grandfather or great grandfather.
I know that we have some roots in the south (Georgia or North Carolina maybe?) as Daddy and Mark went to a family reunion down there about 20 years ago or so.
I'd like to know the history of my family, that's for sure. Anyone know?
