Thank you so much for all of that information
I get the Brittian A. E manuel, from the Book, Daughters of Republic of Texas, Volume 1
Hope the links works
Talks about when he was born and tat he was in the battle of San Jacinto. Etc etc....
But when you look at the name that were in the Battle the A. E. means Albert C Manuel The "C" suposing to be an "E"
I may be wrong but this is the only thing I see close to Brittain in the Battle of San Jacinto. So I am to assume that this is one in the same person. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Whwn I said a nick name of "Brittian, I ment that they called Albert E Manuel also "Brittian" but just as a nick name.
I see The name Brittian A. E manuel or A.E. Brittian Manuel alot in most pedigrees and even on Rootsweb. So thats where I got to thinking it was a nickname. Also from a letter I have that say Albert E was the 3 brittian.
So there you have it.
Life is confusing enough with out errors.
Thank you so kindly again for the information.
You cleared lot up for me.
If you need to you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
