Do you have the lineage of Thomas Whitledge born 4 March 1788 in Paris, Bourbon Co.KY to Captain John Whitledge born 1734, Overwharton PArish, Prince William Co.VA who married, 15 Sept. 1773 at St. Paul's in Stafford VA, Alcey (Alice) Freetor (Fritter,Flitter)?

Capt. John Whitledge died October 1788 in Bourbon Co.KY, when Thomas was less than a year old. His wife Alcey next married Francis Callis. She died 25 Ju8ly 1830.

Sara Jane Curry was born 1809 in Harrison Co.KY 24 February 1828 in Cynthiana, Harrison Co.KY. She was the daughter of John Delaware Curry, youngest son of Archibald Curry and Sara McDonald. John was born 1779 in DE and died 1849 and is buried in Old Stonermouth Cemetery in Bourbon Co. KY beside his second wife, Margaret McClure. He married her 24 December 1840 when Margaret was 50 years old.

Sara Curry's mother was Nancy Clark Henderson.

I have marriage records of Thomas Whitledge and Sara Jane Curry and excerpts of the will of John Delaware Curry.

I am trying to find proof that Thomas Whitledge died 1850 in Peno Township, Pike Co. MO? Trying to establish DAR lineage from him and have records back to earliest Whitledges in VA.

Both of his daughters, America Susan, and widowed Sara Ann Doyle married my great grandfather Samuel Alexander Tombs is Bowling Green, Pike Co.MO.
