On this message board there is an abstract of land transaction following the death of Robert which mentions that a Charles died in IL. However, I read this abstract to mean that this Charles was the son of Robert. I recently emailed the Shelby Co. Hist. Soc. concerning a burial for Charles (b. 1749) in that county and the reply was that it highly unlikely as Shelby Co. formed much later than his reported death in 1818. However, I have never seen any document that supports his 1818 death.
I'd like to communicate more on this but feel it might be better to do so off the list. Would be very interested in your intrepretation of the will you found even if page is missing. My email jbekiss@att.net
